OBIE-winning theater company Hoi Polloi, the resident company of JACK, inaugurates the space this summer with a production of BAAL, the first play by Bertolt Brecht.  Helmed by Artistic Director Alec Duffy, BAAL is about a performance poet on a self-destructive tear.
July 12 - August 5, Thursdays through Sundays at 8 pm. 
Location: JACK, 505 1/2 Waverly Ave between Fulton and Atlantic, Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.  C or G train to Clinton-Washington.
Performances are pay-what-you-can at the door, with no advance reservations possible. 
The seven-actor ensemble features Jason Quarles, Julian Rozzell, Jr., Lori Parquet, Nikaury Rodriguez, Ike Ufomadu, B. Brian Argotsinger and Catherine Decioccio.  OBIE-winner Mimi Lien designs the set, Amith Chandrashaker designs lights and Steven Leffue composes.
